One Minute Wiki

  • A WikiWiki is a web of related topics, each of which has a title (like OneMinuteWiki)
  • Topics range from informal and unbaked to fully thought out
  • AnybodyCanChangeAnything; You (yes, you!) are encouraged to start editing immediately
  • Editing is very, very easy; click Edit on the menu on any page and edit the plain text using the FormattingRules
  • If you're scared to change anything, try the PlayPage
  • The general tone here is casual and respectful.
  • Over time, pages tend to move from DocumentMode to ThreadMode, based on discussion and coalescing
  • When you make a change, consider leaving behind a WikiSignature
  • Every page change is recorded so you can see the history of pages
  • You can use the show changes checkbox to see the changes made for each version of a page
  • If you're not sure where to start, you can look in WhatsNew
  • Bookmark the recent changes list (see the upper-right menu) and watch how things change.
  • Stay current with the whole Wiki by TrackingChangesOnWiki.
  • You can read about most of the features of this wiki in FlexWikiFeatures
  • It's easy to EmbedWikiContentInWordDocuments
